Who we are

Grace Community Church is made up of people from many different backgrounds and life stages. Some have been in church their entire lives; others are rediscovering faith or exploring Christianity for the first time.

What brings us together is not tradition, personality, or preference — but the shared belief that the good news of Jesus Christ changes everything.

We aim to be:

  • Biblically faithful.  God’s word leads and guides.

  • Consumed with Jesus.  He is the focus of everything.

  • Tender-heartedly compassionate. Everyone is our neighbor.

  • Authentic.  Real life requires real faith for real people.

We are biblical in our theology and approachable in our culture. We desire a certain simplicity. Worship Jesus, follow the Bible, love our neighbor, make disciples.

Meet the pastor

Jason Bowman

I have been the pastor of Grace Community Church since 2022. I have had the desire to help other people love Jesus and understand their bible most of my life. I grew up in a large, loving family and was saved at an early age. I knew that I would spend the rest of my life helping people love Christ. The Lord allowed me to lead a student ministry and at the same time, I got to marry Jill. A few years later, we had our daughter Adasyn. I studied religion at Samford University and theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I love seeing people become passionate about their life in Christ.
