Giving is an act of worship. It is one way we honor God and express gratitude for His generosity toward us. (Proverbs 3:9)

Giving supports the work of the gospel. Through our gifts, the church is able to proclaim Christ, disciple believers, and serve those in need. (2 Corinthians 9:12)

Giving shapes our hearts. Jesus taught that where our treasure is, our hearts will be also. Giving helps loosen the grip of materialism and grow our trust in God. (Matthew 6:21)

God loves cheerful generosity. Christian giving flows from joy, not compulsion, because we have already received so much in Christ. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
